नाम से मशहूर उत्तराखंड
राज्य की अपनी कई
बहुमूल्य परंपराएं और रीति–रिवाज
हैं। इन्हीं में से एक
है ‘पितृकुड़ा संस्कार‘। पितृकुड संस्कार
परिवार के किसी वयस्क
सदस्य की मृत्यु के
बाद किया जाता है।
‘पितृकुड़ा‘ का अर्थ है
पूर्वजों का निवास। जिसका
महत्व एक मंदिर के
बराबर है। यह प्रचलित
मान्यता है कि यदि
परिवार के मृत सदस्य
को पितृकुंड में लिंग के
रूप में विधिपूर्वक स्थापित
न किया जाए तो
मृतक की आत्मा को
मनुष्य योनि से मुक्ति
नहीं मिलती और वह भटकती
रहती है। क्रोधित होने
पर ये अपने परिवार
के सदस्यों को भी कष्ट
पहुंचाती है। गढ़वाली “उत्तराखंडी”
फिल्म पितृकुड़ा इसी विषय पर
बनी है।
About The Movie :
Ancestors have special importance in India. The film
Pitrakuda is based on the importance of worshiping ancestors. Uttarakhand
state, known as Devbhoomi in India, has many valuable traditions and rituals of
its own. One of these is ‘Pitrakuda Sanskar’. Pitrakuda Sanskar is performed
after the death of an adult member of the family. ‘Pitrakuda’ means the abode
of ancestors. Whose importance is equal to that of a temple. It is a popular
belief that if the deceased member of the family is not established in the form
of Linga in the Pitrakuda as per the rituals, then the soul of the deceased
does not get liberation from the human form and keeps wandering. When angry,
she also hurts her family members. The Garhwali “uttarakhandi” film
Pitrakuda is made on this subject.
